"My whole life I've tried everything to become a professional football player. Trained till I dropped, Steigerung, Suicides, Cooper tests and intervals. But instead of professional football it mainly gave me injuries for the last years. The years count and the time has come to listen to my body. The chance of a glorious pro career is over and even a first team in any amateur club is not an option. A life without two times a week training has begun. This still feels uncomfortable. To compensate for the lack of ball contact, there is only one solution. You diligently and with full 100 percent focus on the best thing in the world after soccer itself .. To organize events in and around the soccer organization."
Arnoud studied economics at the University of Amsterdam. After his studies he worked for two years as a reporter for Het Parool (Dutch newspaper) and freelance for several weekly and monthly magazines. Arnoud then made the switch to television where he worked as a freelance reporter, commentator and presenter for Eurosport, AT5 and Sports 1. For radio, he is a sports analyst at Business News Radio. Arnoud also provides Media Training to companies and sport organizations. He is part-time associated as a teacher at the Johan Cruyff University and the University of Amsterdam for the subjects Internal and External Communication and Communications, Media and Sport. As co-founder of SoccerID Arnold is responsible for Events.
